Sometimes you need to put in a little work to take a listing from ordinary to extraordinary. After some much-needed updates and design upgrades, this stunning home took the market by storm and was under contract in less than two weeks.
Buyers want modern design elements and trendy home features. It was a tall order to get this listing to meet these desires, but Michelle Stanley of Ebby Halliday and the Curbio Dallas-Fort Worth contractors were able to get it there.
After some major updates to the kitchen, bathrooms, and flooring, the home had a lot of offers. Buyers flocked to the first open house and the home flew off the market in 13 days. Both the homeowner and Michelle were thrilled at the ease of the updates and the added profit.

The kitchen had a good starting point, but was lacking the design elements it needed to really draw buyers in. To make the space a more modern marvel, our work included:
- Demoing and replacing the countertops
- Install a new sink, faucet, and garbage disposal
- Painting the cabinet drawers and face frames
- Updating to LVP flooring
- Repairing a water-damaged cabinet
- Installing a new electric burner cooktop
- Adding new pulls and surface mount hinges
- Replacing electrical outlets on the island
