Smooth Chesapeake Listing Prep
A little basic listing preparation went a long way for this Virginia Beach home. Some minor updates to the outside of the home boosted its curb appeal and fresh paint helped the interior look like new. Thanks to the work of Curbio and agent Bonita Wise, the updates led to a great sale.
Every listing needs a little work before it is ready for the market. While the house was in okay shape, Keller Williams agent, Bonita Wise, had a vision for the home to help it sell for top dollar. Her vision combined with the help of our general contractors in Virginia Beach and the surrounding areas led to an increase in sales prices.
Do you have a vision like Bonita? At Curbio, we are the agent’s choice of contractor and can help make that vision a reality without you having to take on more work. Get started with a free estimate.
First impressions matter. To help the exterior of the house pop and draw buyers in, updates included:
- Pressure washing the siding and masonry
- Painting the front door and garage door
- Sealing windows with caulk, replacing window screens, and painting window shutters
- Removing metal fence posts and filling the holes
- Getting rid of the storm door

The upstairs of the home was in decent shape, but a few minor updates helped to give the home a finished look. Work included painting the ceilings and walls in the hallway, primary bathroom, and one of the bedroom closets. We also patched drywall on the ceilings as needed.

The downstairs, too, just needed some finishing touches before heading to the market. The ceilings got a fresh coat of paint after the drywall was patched.
