Dramatic Chesterfield Remodel

The updates and renovations to a cozy Virginia home helped it be market-ready.

Curbio recently updated a serene ranch home in the lush Virginia woods. We refreshed the home with new paint and flooring throughout, as well as upgrades to the kitchen, bathrooms, basement, and exterior.

The listing agent, Tara Carter-Brown of Long & Foster, enjoyed working with Curbio.

The bedroom looks bigger, brighter and more modern thanks to replaced carpets, repainted walls, and repairs to the closet, doors, and wood trim.

Similar updates were made to the second bedroom, and the enhancements to the flooring, walls, closets, and lighting make the space feel inviting and clean.

In the kitchen, we repainted the cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and face frames. We also updated hinges and hardware, and installed a new microwave.

New floors in the living area and fresh interior paint throughout the main level make the home more appealing in photos and in person.

We refreshed the bathrooms with a good scrub and fresh coat of paint. Meanwhile, our team also removed, refurbished, and reinstalled the vanities with updated hardware. The shower sparkles like new after a vigorous scrub!

The porch floors look fresh after the team replaced the rotting doorway frame with fresh wood, paint, and hardware. A thorough clean and decluttering make the home’s exterior more inviting and spacious.

Even the shed got a makeover! We power washed the adorable little structure and replaced the rotting wood of its landing and porch.

Finally, our team completed a series of landscaping improvements, including the removal of a tree stump and general clean-up of weeds, leaves and bushes. After power washing the entire exterior, this home was in top-of-market condition!
