They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but in Curbio’s case, the before and after pictures of our renovations never tell the full story.

So, for this project, we’re letting you in behind-the-scenes, so that you can meet the players  (the Realtor, homeowner and the Project Manager), and see the house renovation as it progresses through regular updates.

Meet Sherelle Manley and her two-month-old daughter, Gaby. Sherelle is a single mom with big plans who always has a smile on her face. As her agent, John Johnson (Tesla Realty Group) put it, “not many people catch my heart these days, but she did.”

When she began to struggle to make mortgage payments on her Northwood, PA home, she realized she needed to sell. Determined to find a solution that would help maximize the profit from the sale of her home, she came across Curbio in a Google search.

After bringing in Sherelle’s Realtor, Curbio began a virtual assessment of the large 5-bedroom, 2.5 bath colonial built in 1925. Sherelle had already begun renovations, with the kitchen and upstairs hall bathroom well-underway. But with a new baby to take care of, she was ready to let Curbio takeover.

From the outset, Sherelle was concerned about having baby Gaby living in a construction zone or exposed to workers amidst COVID-19. Her Project Manager, Joe Fritz, connected her with the Curbio complimentary homeowner relocation program. This new program rolled out to help sellers stay safe during COVID, relocates homeowners like Sherelle into Airbnb’s, VRBO’s or other accommodations during construction, to ensure their health and safety during the pandemic.  Now she, Gaby and their dog, Ghost, are safely enjoying life in a luxury apartment.
